Unfortunately one cannot progress farther and the other two missions keep repeating. Ideally one could skip a scenario or this particular scenario would be revised so there are fewer of the enemy twin engine fighters which are really over powered in this particular scenario. Even if there were allied Bombers this likely would not even out the scenario although it might help. Moreover the mission description says there are accompanying Bombers but there are not. By the time I have destroyed the AA my four wingmates are usually half damaged and have not even shot down an enemy plane and with 36 to destroy it is impossible even on easy setting, I’ve tried at least 25 times. This same mission requires one to destroy 10 AA escorts and an ammo convoy with two AA escorts plus there are four AA guns around a bridge. A few of these are bad enough albeit manageable but in this mission they appear in groups of 12. One minor flaw is the enemy “ace” planes that defy all the laws of physics with their acceleration and turning and take so long to shoot down.Ī deeper flaw is a particular mission where the enemy has 36 twin engine fighters with rear maching guns, believe it is the “Nick” model.
